We had our first day of school, here are some pictures. Notice none of mom, but hey that's how it goes. Everyone is doing great and adjusting to the new schedule. Emma seems to be getting the hang of all day school, although I think she is wiped out by the end of the day. Friday when I picked her up, (keep in mind we had only been in school 5 days) she was crying saying her stomach hurts. She usually says that when she is nervous or upset about something. So of course I asked all the mommy questions, but only tears and complaing. Long story short, we came home to pack a bag to head out to Me Me's house (more on that later) and we are walking out the door, she turns around and throws up all over me. Oh yes, it was lovely. Jack went screaming outside, he hates throw up but don't know anyone who likes it. So great i'm thinking, we have been in school a whole week and now we have a stomach virus which we will be passing around. But..... not the case, she felt fine after and never had another issue.
We had a crazy, fun summer. Some of you may not know that my parents moved back from New Mexico to accept a associate pastor postion at our church. We were thrilled to have them back. They ended up living with us all summer while trying to find a house. THey just moved in this past weekend and we are till unpacking boxes. They bought a house in Prosper with a great pool and a huge backyard. The kids love it and so do we. I love that my kids will have their Grandparents around and hey doesn't hurt the date night for us.:).
Jack has started football and I think he has found his passion and I have to say he's pretty darn good. He plays center and nose gaurd. The coach is pretty intense but you know we live in Football country. His first game is next Wed. and he can't wait.
So Jacob and I have been hanging out and helping Me Me get unpacked. We start our first Life Group tonight at our church, we will doing the Truth Project by Focus on the Family. It is life changing and I can't wait to get started.
Hopefully I can keep up a little better these days than I did in the summer.
